• One week later
• I've never been so exhausted and tired of everything as I was this past week. It felt as if the load of ten people had been put upon my head. I didn't know the cake business would be so exhausting. And then school has been killing us with tests and assignments. I couldn't get a day of rest to myself, constantly venturing into one thing or another. I was given a sample job at a company to supply cupcakes for one week as a test. If they see a positive outcome from their customers, they might hire me. Great, right? But the work will be too much for me, and I can't leave school for that. Even though they'd hire me based on my skill, not based on my certificate.
