• As Roger speaks, my eyes remain fixed on his moving lips and expressive gestures, but my mind is elsewhere. I can’t shake the worry I have for Isabella; a strange feeling of unease has invaded me for the past few days. It’s something indescribable, yet intense enough to make me feel the need to be close to her at all times. That’s why, despite the distractions and priorities of the day, I don’t want to be apart from her. I know I can’t ignore this gut feeling, and I feel I must be there to protect her, even if I can’t explain the reason behind my concern.
