Chapter 14 Without Resistance
- We arrived at the foot of an imposing building, its gray facade towering over us like a wall. The entrance was wide and flanked by two rows of pine trees swaying in the wind. For a moment, I felt disoriented, thinking it would lead me to one of its hotels.
- A guard greeted us warmly as we passed, addressing Adrien by name. I deduced he lived there and wondered what kind of life he had. The guard looked at me with curiosity and wished me goodnight, to which I responded shyly.
- Adrien didn’t let go of my hand at any moment. When we reached the elevator, he gently pulled me in and kissed me urgently yet sweetly. He took my breath away, and I responded with the same passion. His hands caressed my lower back, making me arch toward him as our bodies melded together.
