Chapter 61 The Calm Before The Storm

• I decided to ask Adrien to sleep with me since he had been sleeping in the other room until now. I felt I needed his support on this particular night, but at the same time, I had that pending situation that I needed to clarify. Adrien has already left for the office, so I take the opportunity to call Will and have a conversation with him. I don't want to let more time pass without addressing our situation and clearing up any misunderstandings that may exist.
• After calling Tania to tell her about the encounter with Will, I head to the café where we agreed to meet. With each step I take, the tension in my body increases, and my nerves spike. I can't help but feel anxious about the uncertainty of what had happened between us that night. I know I can't continue living in the dark; I need to face the truth, no matter how painful it might be.
• Part of me wants to go back, ignore what happened, and carry on as if nothing occurred. But I know that will only prolong the suffering and confusion. I need answers to be able to accept it, understand it, and make decisions based on reality. With each step closer to the café, I remind myself that I have to be brave.
