Chapter 30

• Derrick returned to the mansion after he had gone to meet his security men. His mother called him just before their dinner was ready. "Derrick," he paused as he heard his mother call him over to meet her on their couch.
• "Mom, what's the matter?" Derrick asked as he finally approached his mother.
• "I want to discuss something with you. Are you free now?" Lady Loretta asked, and Derrick replied, "Sure, Mom. What's it about?"
