Chapter 119

• Derrick went upstairs to his bedroom to freshen up. He was stressed but, at the same time, happy to know that Miranda cared about his mother. He had thought that she hated him, but he felt a bit relieved when he saw her arrive. He also planned on getting Erica arrested, as he wouldn't allow the fact that she slapped Miranda to slide.
• "Erica came here to my house and attacked Miranda. How dare she?" Derrick was enraged in his room. He excused himself from Miranda to take a bath and to avoid making her uncomfortable, knowing that she wouldn't have visited him if he hadn't told her his mother was in the hospital.
• Derrick's fists clenched, as he wasn't expecting to see Erica either. He had blocked her, so what did she want?
