• After dinner with his mother ended, Derrick escorted her to her bedroom. Knowing that she was worrying about the maids and the incident that had happened earlier, he said, "Mom, you see the reason I told you earlier to send that maid away."
• Lady Loretta smiled after she walked into her room and settled on her white bed. She told Derrick, "No, Derrick. Miranda is not at fault here, and I cannot understand why you also dislike Miranda so much."
