- Meanwhile, Charlotte was agitated and happy to learn that someone was interested in supplying the computers, but since it was her first time getting involved in a deal worth tens of thousands, she couldn't help but feel a little nervous about it. Also, she was afraid that the person she had just spoken to over the phone could be a scammer, so she asked Lucia to accompany her. In the meantime, Lucia felt as if she had nothing to fear now that she was no longer at anyone's mercy. Thus, she agreed to tag along with Charlotte without hesitation. "You know what? I think we should get a man to come along with us, and the best person to do that is Mr. Leynthall. Who dares to con him after all? I doubt whoever we're dealing with has the guts to mess with a big shot like him," Lucia explained to Charlotte while enjoying her tidbits.
- "That's easier said than done. He and I are not really on talking terms now, plus this is a matter about my then-boyfriend. So, unless I'm out of my mind, we're better off going without him," Charlotte replied.
- "What's wrong with you? Why aren't you on talking terms with him? You saw it yourself how he just randomly liked our post and changed our fates with that. People worship this man, but you somehow decided to do the opposite and rub him the wrong way." Lucia was bitterly disappointed to hear about Charlotte's strained relationship with Darius.
