Chapter 28 Bargaining With Him for the First Time

Darius found Charlotte flipping through a novel in the study on the second floor.
"Come here. I’d like to discuss something with you." He knocked on the door to capture her attention. Charlotte was startled, worrying that he was going to ask her about where she had gone in the morning.
Soon after, he turned around and walked toward his bedroom while Charlotte followed anxiously. After they entered his room, she closed the door behind her and started looking around the room. The grandeur of it made her speechless, and it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that it was another luxurious house.
