Chapter 114 Substitute
- Soon, the weekend rolled around. In order to receive Samantha, who would be visiting soon, Charlotte braced herself for the brewing trouble and made time to buy the ingredients she needed from the market. When Samantha arrived, Charlotte, who was wearing an apron, was busy cooking in the kitchen with Ms. Franklin. Shortly after her arrival, Samantha proceeded to chat with Darius, whom she asked about Sebastian's latest health status. In the meantime, Darius sat on the couch, appearing uninterested in their conversation.
- Soon, Charlotte finished cooking and served the dishes, among which was Acqua Pazza, a famous Italian cuisine. Although she knew Samantha wasn't very likable in the Leynthall Family, she reckoned she should still treat her with some hospitality to repay her father for having saved Darius' life. "It's lunchtime now, everybody." Charlotte filled the dining table with various dishes.
