Chapter 66 The Switch

Elle squirmed in her sleep as the sound replaced the silence in her room. The voice had stopped for a while. But it came back after getting no treatment from the owner. It rang again and forced her to wake up from her deep slumber. With her eyes still closed, her hands fumbled around to find the source of the sound. It was her phone. And she really wanted to turn off the alarm immediately. She still wanted to continue her sleep.
Elle found it. She pressed the button on the side of her phone, hoping it would stop the ringing. And it worked for a few seconds before her phone rang again for the third time. Elle, who got annoyed, forced her eyes to open and intended to just turn off her cellphone instead of constantly disturbing her sleep. It was still dark outside!
And that was when she realized it wasn't her morning alarm but a call. Lucas called her.
