Chapter 11 Cooking Together

• "As I recall, I only asked you to buy ice cream," Elle chimed in as she opened the door for Amy and saw two packages in her hands. One, she was sure, was the ice cream she requested. The other, she couldn't guess what it was.
• "This is chocolate lava cake, your favorite. I made it myself," Amy replied, inviting herself into Elle's apartment and walking straight to the dining table. She put her bags there.
• Elle followed Amy after making sure the door was closed. Her curiosity made her immediately approach Amy and see for herself its content. As expected, there was a big box of ice cream in there. She then turned to open another box next to it. There was a medium-sized chocolate cake that was so tempting.
