Chapter 154 Flashback: A Wonderful Daddy

"I'm coming," she shouted from the bathroom. Elle had just applied soap to her upper body when she heard her daughter's cry. Apparently, Chiara woke up from her sleep. She left her in her crib so she could take a shower. Oh, baby's bedtime was heaven for moms. She could do things she could not finish, such as housework. And she could even steal time off by taking a quick nap or shower.
She immediately pulled the shower to wash off the soap on her body. She wanted to wipe it clean, but she realized that she didn't have time for that. So she splashed it all over her body and hoped the water would carry away the rest of the shampoo and soap. Along with that, she forced her body to enjoy the warm water that hit her skin. It felt really comfortable. She imagined bathing in the bathtub and relaxing her tired body and stress there. Oh, it was indeed very different from the actual situation. But, at least, she had the fun.
After feeling clean, she hurried to take a towel and then wrapped it around her body. She must do everything fast. Likewise, as she walked into her daughter's room. She almost ran to get there as soon as possible.
