Chapter 25 Unexpected Meeting

Elle didn't know whether to call her visit had a good ending or not. It was good because she could communicate her plan to return to work and had Henry's full support. And it was terrible because she had to bring home a pile of papers, which would be her additional problem.
Elle lowered her head, examining the company logo on the top of the file. She had to carry it with both hands because it turned out to be heavy. Elle should have asked for something, maybe a bag, to make it easier for her to carry. Ah, it reminded her of her college days when she often brought home piles of books that were no less tall and heavy than she was taking at the moment. And that was troublesome.
Elle couldn't help but use her elbow to press the button on the elevator she was taking in. She couldn't ask anyone for help because she was alone there. Then, her brain was working. How about going through the gate? She had to scan her access card for the door to open. And the card was still hanging around her neck. It seemed to be no other choice but to put down her stuff for a while to release the card from her neck. That was troublesome, indeed.
