• Elle pointed her feet out of the canteen towards the gate. Just then, the corner of her eye caught the appearance of George and Peter, who had just entered the main door. She soon quickened her pace, not caring that it would cause the quick sound of her heels colliding with the floor that echoed throughout the lobby. Oh, she regretted not taking her sneakers with her. She had stood in front of her car trunk for a few seconds to weigh her decision. In the end, she just walked away, thinking that she would do it the next day. She intended to include another pair of heels according to her plan before.
• She pressed the elevator button quickly but tried her best to remain calm. No, she wasn't afraid of them. Who were they to make her afraid? She only wanted to keep her sanity by not dealing with those two annoying men at once. She could handle George. But coupled with Peter, it would drain a lot of her emotions.
• Elle rushed inside as soon as the doors opened. She pressed the number where the floor of her office was followed by a long press of the button to close the elevator doors. Yeah, Elle knew the switch wasn't helpful because the doors would keep closing automatically. And if someone wanted to get into the elevator, the door would open again no matter how many times she pressed the button. It was really useless, right?
