Chapter 52 Confrontation (Two)

• “Okay.” He said, and began to change his clothes, after which he went to take a shower. By the time he got back, she was still on her painting and was still refusing to talk to him without being prompted. Feeling uneasy, Sebastian walked up to where she sat painting and glanced down at her work. She was an incredible artist, from what he could see. Even though the work wasn’t finished yet, he could see that it was going to look amazing when she was done with it. Carol did not look up or speak when he came over, but she paused what she was doing and just stared down at the work in front of her.
• “That painting is beautiful. I never knew that you could do that.” Sebastian complimented.
• “Thanks.”
