• Lily's POV
• The sun slammed down on the road, making me squint as I straightened my back and walked toward the black SUV parked on the side of the road. A bodyguard opened the back door for me. I took one last look at the revolving door behind me, where the two figures were still in an embrace - John's face was a mixture of shock and confusion, while Grace had her face buried in his chest and her shoulders were shaking like she'd been through hell.
• I grinned coldly and slipped into the car.
