Chapter 7 Psychic Powers
- Liang’s pov
- The tan wolf stared at him and cocked his overly large head to the left. Liang was almost a hundred percent sure the animal was wondering why he felt the sudden urge to run away, tail tucked between his legs. It wasn’t his fault though. Liang has always had the power to command creatures of different kinds. It wasn’t a sinewy power that made them into zombies or anything but if he wanted an animal to scurry away or to leave another animal alone. He only had to tell them in that psychic way only he could. He didn’t even have to use his alpha power. His psychic abilities had come from his dad’s side. He was pretty sure he got the gene from one of his ancestors or something. His dad had said his great great grandfather had been that way too. They had been sure the power was lost after generations passed without it’s appearance but he had been positively surprised to find out that his son had the power . Though he had tried to ignore it in his younger years.
- Normally, he wouldn’t tell the wolf to leave but he needed to hear the stories the wind and trees were whispering to him. It was one of the few times he had the opportunity to after leaving his pack a week ago. He was lucky though, he had only needed to visit a pub with one of his delta warriors. Finding her had been a real eye-opener for him. It was as if the world was suddenly painted in bright hues. She had been perfect. Before now he has always favored alpha females and now it was adept why. The moon goddess was preparing him for his mate. His rambunctious wolf yipped in agreement. It was all he had to do to prevent his wolf from licking her down when he had seen her.
