Chapter 6 Unexpected Encounter

• Mei’s pov
• Mei rolled her eyes for the umpteenth time that night. Chunli had been awarded a contract in the company she worked in and had announced that they needed to celebrate. She definitely acquiesced, her friend had seriously worked hard to get to where she was right now and her win deserved a girl’s night. This was why she had against her better judgment agreed to go to a new bar that had opened downtown with her best friend. The outside of the bar definitely didn’t match the albeit gaudy inside. It was almost as if a fashion unicorn had thrown up in here. She giggled to herself at the corny analogy.
• “Are you listening Mei? I’m getting to the good part” chunli was recounting an event that had happened at work today. It was about how one of her bosses, an alpha wolf had found his mate, an alpha wolf had been somewhat elated not until she had found out that her mate had a pregnant girlfriend at home and there was more , they had two other kids too. It would have been hilarious if she didn’t consider how heartbroken the female would have been. Some males were just too impatient. One was believable but three kids. It was as if he hadn’t wanted to find his mate.
