Chapter 8
- Adrian was adamant that I must bring him the files. I had no option but to take them. One thing was clear: I needed to put on a mask. I really didn't want to be recognized. Yeah, shock of my life. I didn't want to see any of my family. I didn't want my cover to be blown.
- I went with the company's car. I had been given permission to use it in case of any emergency. The driver was always ready to drive. I told him where we were headed, and he drove. In the car, I was so worried. I didn't want anyone to find out who I truly was. What was I going to do now?
- I tried to calm myself down. The ride seemed like a long one, and it was just a twenty-minute ride, according to the driver. I put on my mask because we were almost there. The car finally came to an abrupt stop. "We are here," said the driver.
