Chapter 7

• The next day, I received a call from Aiden, informing me that he had something urgent to tell me. I was confused because I had work to go to, and he was just in the room next door. It wouldn't hurt if he waited until I came back from work. But then again, a thought said I should go and see what he had to say. It might be important.
• I was already dressed up from school. He could drop me off at least, right? I picked up my bag and left for Aiden's apartment. I have a key to the apartment, so I opened it myself. I met him on his laptop. He waved at me, "Come over. Come and check this out," he said, like he didn't just make a hurried call as if something was wrong with him.
• "Are you kidding? You called me here in a hurry only to see you on your laptop?" I said in disbelief.
