Chapter 18

• In the news, it was being announced: Adrian's marriage to my sister, Emma. I couldn't believe this was true, so why was I disturbed about it? It's not like Adrian was my boyfriend or something, so why did I feel so jealous? Why? Maybe I'm going insane because this can't be bothering me right now.
• I heard a knock on the door. I knew it was Aiden since he already texted that he was coming. "Come in," I said. He asked to come in with two packs of pizza. He gave me one and sat down right beside me. He saw how dull I was, and his caring side kicked in instantly.
• "What's wrong with you? Is there something bothering you?" he asked, and I shook my head. "I don't know why I feel some type of way today."
