Chapter 16

• She left us alone, and then we began to search for something nice for Aiden. I spotted a blue shirt that looked really nice. I picked it out and went on to pick a white one. Since he needed many, I continued to check for more. I checked the size to be sure they would fit him.
• Aiden, on the other hand, sat there and watched me do all the work. I gave him a look. "Won't you come over here to check for something you like?"
• "I trust that you'll find something nice for me," he said, and I rolled my eyes at him.
