Chapter 25

• I stared at my beauty as I was so eager to take it to work today, but then something in me didn't want to. I don't want to flaunt it now. Maybe some other time. A time I'll be able to throw it in someone's face. The thought alone makes me want to laugh.
• Aiden was outside waiting for me. I told him I didn't want to take my ride to work just yet, and he said he would take me to work until I was ready to drive myself. This is why I care so much about Aiden. He is the kind of best friend I want around me.
• He smiled when he saw my dressing. "You're looking so beautiful today. What's the secret, dear?"
