Chapter 17

I was up so early. I got dressed for work and then received a message from Adrian that I should meet him at a restaurant close to the office. Why not the office? What is he doing at a restaurant as early as possible? Maybe I'll find out when I get there.
Now that I don't have a ride anymore, I had to use the bus. It's high time I get myself a car. I really need one because I can't continue to rely on Aiden to take me to work all the time. He has a job too, and it won't be fair for me to still ask him for a ride when the way isn't the same.
I headed out of the house and hurriedly made my way to the nearest bus stop. I don't know when the next bus will be coming. It's going to be hard to tell. I was the only one standing at the bus stop. I sighted the bus coming and waved at the driver to stop. I rushed inside and found a place to sit. The bus was still empty. There were only a few people inside.
