• “Sir, someone is waiting for you inside,” Thelma interrupted as she entered his office.
• He furrowed his brow. He glanced at his wristwatch. "At this hour?" It was already ten o'clock in the evening.
• He had just come out of the conference room. He had a meeting earlier with the board and was delayed. He asked Thelma to com to his office first. He still had some tasks to be completed here, while he also got caught up chatting with his Uncle Tom, who was inquiring about the twins. His uncle said he'd visit their house one day.
