Chapter 12 – Dahlia

• Skyler was completely absorbed in the pile of papers spread across his long desk. He was busy studying everything. Now that he was back in his company, he needed to double his efforts. There was a lot of piled-up work waiting for him.
• He heard a knock on the wooden door. “Come in!” he said. His eyes were still fixed on the folder he was reading.
• The door opened, and someone stepped in quietly. Slow steps approached him. “Is there a problem, Thelma?” he asked. He was referring to his secretary.
