Chapter 21 – Employee & Lost Friend

• "By the way, why didn’t you tell me?" Mhia asked as Skyler prepared the food his secretary ordered for them. The other table was nearly full on one side, while two black sofas adorned both sides.
• Skyler’s office was simple yet exuded luxury. Every item there was expensive, from the carpeted floor to the plain gray walls, and even the mini chandelier on the ceiling— everything screamed wealth. Even the simple steel cabinet frames with stacked books and two white flower vases indicated a hefty price tag.
• It was spacious, as it was the sole occupant of the entire floor. It had its own lobby outside the office, even before reaching his secretary's table. If she recalled correctly, it also had an entertainment room and a mini gym. It might even have its own room there that she hadn't seen before entering his office.
