Chapter 32 – Memories

• Skyler sighed as his mind returned to the present. That’s how he and Adreianne’s relationship started to grow. Each passing day brought new discoveries about each other. It was thrilling and fascinating how they uncovered both differences and similarities throughout. However, it all happened in the shortest period of time. Because just as quickly as he had fallen in love and experienced happiness for the first time in his life, it was taken away from him.
• He looked at the wooden box. He opened it and found old, happy memories inside. It contained the simple notes that Adreianne loved to leave for him. Additionally, there were the flower petals she collected, along with the accompanying notes. Also inside were receipts from the hotel they stayed at in Bali and its brochure.
• He glanced at the first drawer he had opened earlier. He retrieved a small red box from it and opened it. Inside was their wedding band.
