Chapter 6 - Cheater
- With a smile on her face, Mhia stepped into the elevator. She wanted to surprise Cendrick. It was their sixteenth month anniversary, and that was her idea for the day.
- She was dressed to impress her boyfriend, wearing her halter seductive red dress that fell above her knees. She deliberately chose to wear it that day to mark their anniversary and to add some spice for it. She paired it with white stilettos. She wore minimal jewelry, just gold hoop earrings, which accentuated her beauty even more. Her makeup was light, except for her visible red lipstick.
- Simple, yet seductively elegant. That was the impression she had of herself.
- She stopped by a famous bakery and bought Cendrick’s favorite vanilla cake. She also brought flowers. In her mind, it wasn’t just men who gave flowers. Women could do too.
- When the elevator chimed on the floor where Cendrick’s unit was, she stepped out with a smile on her lips. Looking back, it seemed he kept his word. For over two months, he remained well-behaved. There were no rumors or catches of him with other women, something that angered Tiffany.
- When Tiffany learned that Mhia forgave Cendrick again, she almost disowned her as a friend. But there was nothing she could do if that was her decision. Tiffany knew she couldn’t change her mind anymore.
- Yet and still, Tiffany supported her. However, she couldn’t help but receive hurtful words from her. She even warned her not to cry in the end. Because she’d really cussed her for her foolishness.
- Mhia just shook her head. She could see Cendrick’s change. That’s why she wished to herself that it would continue. That he wouldn’t think about returning to his old ways.
- She didn’t knock when she reached the door of his unit. She had the key— one of the things he did when they almost broke up. He said that he did it to prove to her that he wouldn’t do anything stupid anymore. Because anytime, she could check his unit.
- When Mhia opened the door, she walked in with a smile. The lights were dim, but she knew he was there because he told her when she called earlier. She silently closed the door to surprise him.
- When she reached the living room and found he wasn’t there, but the TV was on, she glanced around. She heard a thud from his room, the door slightly opened. The light was on, so she knew he was there.
- She placed the cake on the center table and took the lighter, which was already there. Cendrick sometimes smoked.
- She lit the candle and slowly walked towards his room. She was about to speak when she finally saw what was happening inside.
- “Ohh, f*ck!” Cendrick moved was fast, thrusting in and out his manhood behind the woman in front of him.
- The woman was on her side view from her position. When she saw her face, she was shocked.
- “Please, Ced. . . I’m c*mming now. Make it fast!” the woman pleaded, who was none other than Tiffany!
- “Like this, huh!” He spanked Tiffany’s butt. She moaned loud feeling the heaven she was receiving.
- The two didn’t even recognize that she was there, looking at them. They were both in desperation to reach their climax.
- Mhia clasped her fist tight. In her rage, she approached them and forcefully smashed the cake onto Tiffany’s face— who was utterly shocked to see her.
- “Mhia!” they both exclaimed as they quickly separated. Guilt and embarrassment were evident on Tiffany’s face, while Cendrick seemed more concerned— whether for her well-being or his own.
- Her boyfriend quickly approached her, but she stepped back swiftly. “Don’t come near me,” she threatened him in a trembling voice.
- When she looked at Tiffany, whose face almost lost its color, she sarcastically laughed. “So, this is why... This is why you want me to break up with Cendrick because you want to claim him for yourself!” Her eyes glared at her. Her perspective of Tiffany suddenly shifted. And even she, who rarely gets angry, felt like exploding in those moments. She wanted to slap and scratch her treacherous friend. But she maintained her composure, even though it was difficult.
- What she saw was unforgivable!
- She quickly wiped away the hot liquid that ran down both her cheeks. She despised both of them!
- “I thought you were my friend, but you’re a snake!” she spat out with a trembling chest. “You should have told me that you want my boyfriend. I wouldn’t have hesitated to give him to you completely, because I’m a martyr, right? Because I allow myself to be fooled! Because I’m stupid! And because— I’m an idiot!” she screamed. She couldn’t contain the emotions wanting to burst out of her chest.
- “Mhia...” Cendrick tried to approach her, but she greeted him with a strong slap. She followed it up with another one.
- “That’s for hurting me countless times. It’s not even enough!” Then she hurled the flowers she held at him. The petals scattered on the floor.
- “Stop it, Mhia!” Cendrick pleaded, but she pushed him forcefully. He stumbled backward and fell onto the bed.
- No one could stop her in those moments. Tiffany knew that. In her intense anger, she wouldn’t dare approach her. Tiffany would definitely face her wrath if she dared to do so.
- She looked at her friend, whose head was bowed.
- “This is all I can say to both of you... go to hell!” And with that, she stormed out of Cendrick’s unit.
- She took large strides towards the elevator. Her chest was pumping like hell, and she felt like she couldn’t breathe. She was crying, yet at the same time— laughing. If anyone saw her, they would think she was crazy.
- Why of all people, it’s Tiffany? Her remaining friend betrayed her. And her damn boyfriend hurt her again.
- It’s your fault! You didn’t listen to Tiffany. If you had listened to her before, you wouldn’t be hurt this much now! A part of her brain blamed her.
- But Tiffany had other reasons why she wanted to break them up. And you just confirmed it now, another part of her answered.
- “Enough! Enough!” she admonished herself like a madwoman. But she only ended up crying more.
- She looked at the elevator’s sensor. It was only two floors away from reaching her, but she couldn’t stop crying. She didn’t care if there were passengers inside or not. Her heart was shattered into pieces. She was completely broken by what she had learned, so no one could tell her when to stop.
- When it opened, she paused at the threshold of getting in. There was a couple inside who seemed to have no intention of reaching any particular floor. They were passionately kissing each other, while the man’s hand was inside the scant clothing of the woman he was kissing. She was about to step back when she heard Cendrick’s voice.
- She quickly stepped into the elevator. She pressed the close button firmly, while the couple behind her seemed oblivious. They were still moaning in pleasure.
- She put both her hands over her ears. She didn’t want to hear the sounds they were making. It only reminded her of what she witnessed in Cendrick’s unit. It was like they were adding more pain to what she was feeling. It felt like they were pouring salt and calamansi juice on her wounds, making it sting even more.
- However, they minded her or not, they still continued what they were doing.
- “F*ck me with your fingers,” the woman whispered.
- “Like this?” the man replied.
- Her brows furrowed. The man’s voice was familiar to her.
- “Yes! Like that! Ohh!” the woman moaned.
- In her annoyance, she faced them. She was the one who felt embarrassed by the scene that greeted her. The man’s hand was already inside the woman’s short skirt, performing a miracle there, while the woman leaned her head against the metal wall of the elevator, swaying back and forth.
- Her eyes narrowed as she scrutinized the man closely. She became even more irritated when she recognized him.
- She wiped her tears roughly. Suddenly, her focus shifted from the pain in her chest to the two people behind her.
- “Can’t you just wait to get to your room? Don’t you see there are other people here?” she said angrily.
- The woman just glanced at her briefly. She grinned. “You want to join?” she asked teasingly.
- Her irritation elevated even more. She wasn’t a violent type of person. In fact, she was probably the most composed among all the composed individuals. But in those moments, she couldn’t control herself.
- She was about to speak again when the man looked at her. She raised an eyebrow at him.
- He seemed surprised to see her, judging by his reaction. He stopped what he was doing and furrowed his brows as he observed her from head to toe. His eyes returned to linger on her average chest.
- Her feelings towards him changed with his action. Suddenly, she felt thirsty, so she quickly turned away from them before she betrayed herself. She swallowed repeatedly. She completely forgot about the scene she witnessed earlier at Cendrick’s unit. Something else was running through her mind now— a scene she thought she had buried long time ago!
- “Guess your date stood up on you,” she heard the man say, but she didn’t pay attention to him.
- “Do you know her?” The irritation was evident in the woman’s voice. She seemed annoyed at being interrupted.
- She didn’t hear the man’s response, but she felt him observing her. His eyes almost burned holes into her back.
- When the elevator stopped at the lobby, she took large strides and left the two inside. She never looked back, even though she knew the man was still staring at her.
- What for?
