Chapter 42 – Black & White

• Mhia hadn't even parked her car yet when she spotted her grandmother waiting in front of their house. After everything that had happened, she decided to go home to San Marcelino to clear her mind and find peace. She wanted to escape the city— away from memories that brought her tears day and night.
• She and Adreianne had talked. She told her that she had spoken to Skyler. Adreianne kept asking what Skyler had said, but all she could tell her was to wait for his call.
• She couldn't bring herself to tell her friend about her and Skyler. She didn't plan to tell her about it here or anywhere else, because there was nothing more to talk about. She and Skyler had ended everything between them. So it was better that way, to avoid further discussions.
