• As they descended to the nineteenth floor, almost all of Skyler's guests and employees were already there, and they were the only ones left waiting.
• All eyes were fixed on them as they emerged from his private elevator. His arm was tightly wrapped around hers, gently tapping it.
• As she glanced around, most of those present wore envy on their faces— especially women. They were jealous of her. Some seemed ready to skin her alive with the way they stared at her.
