Chapter 34 – Fate

• Mhia stared at the ceiling of her house. She couldn't think straight, so she didn't go to work. She was in a real dilemma about whether to tell Skyler the truth or not. If she told him the truth, he might get angry. If she didn't, he would still be angry.
• She sighed and looked outside the window. The sky was blue, the weather was nice and warm, and the wind was strong, causing the mango tree leaves outside her townhouse to dance.
• If before, what she saw outside could lighten her mood, now it couldn't. The heaviness in her chest seemed to have increased when she saw the ring on her finger. She took it off and placed it on the side table. She couldn't help but sob, until it turned into a loud cry.
