• Ella was going to pick Vera up from school today. She wasn't complaining about it as she rather enjoyed spending time with Vera, and it helped her take her mind off the things that otherwise danced in her mind on a constant basis.
• The car pulled into the parking lot, and Ella was humming a song that had been playing on the car radio beforehand. No sooner had she come down from the car when another took the parking space beside her.
• Katrina stepped out of the car, and Ella let out a small groan, her face twisted in embarrassment and unease. Katrina’s eyes landed on Ella, and she looked at her the way an animal stared at its food. Katrina smiled and waved before walking towards her.
