Chapter 23

• A loud groan escapes his mouth as our hips meet, his hand lowering to grip my upper thigh with an intensity that sends shivers through me.
• His lips finally claim mine, the taste of liquor blending with something uniquely him. His tongue slips between my parted lips, commanding and sure, and I follow his lead, my lack of experience evident in the soft sighs that escape me as his tongue strokes mine.
• Lucas’s grip tightens on my thigh, and with a firm but gentle motion, he pushes my leg to the side. The shift in position makes me gasp as it grants him more access, and he doesn’t hesitate. His hips grind against mine in a rough, deliberate rhythm that sends sparks of pleasure coursing through me. The seam of my shorts presses against me in just the right way, making me arch into him, my body trembling.
