Chapter 57

Amelia and Hailey were speechless for a few minutes. Amelia was about to say something when the car came to a halt and the sound of a car turning over was heard. They all got up to see that the car Jimmy and the backup guys were in had turned over and caught fire. They were off the highway some distance away. They were about to move and Amelia was about to say something yet again when a car suddenly hit them by the side, causing their car to turn over, causing Amelia to hit her head on the glass window causing her to pass out immediately.
Amelia woke up to someone tapping and shaking her. She opened her eyes but they were blurry so she blinked a couple, clearing her sight. It was Claire that was forcing her to wake up. Remembering what happened, she felt a sharp pain in her head. She touched her head and felt liquid on it and cursed under her breath. Claire too had blood on her head, face, and on her outfit too. Amelia forced herself to get up and looked around.
Jimmy, Anthony, and some of the other guys were fine and shooting at the drones but she couldn't find Hailey anyway. “ Are the drones still here? I thought they might have left after the accident. By the way, where's Hailey, I can't find her anywhere?"
