Chapter 110
- The corridor was dimly lit, with only a few flickering bulbs providing light. Hailey’s eyes adjusted quickly, and she moved cautiously, aware that any noise could alert any of the men. She needed to find a way out, and fast.
- As she moved down the corridor, she heard the faint hum of machinery and the occasional distant shout. She followed the sounds, hoping they would lead her to an exit. Her head was pounding, but she gritted her teeth and kept moving.
- At the end of the corridor, she found another door. She pushed it open and stepped into a large room filled with various equipment and more wooden crates. This room was better-lit, and she could see another door on the far side. She headed for it, hoping it would lead to freedom.
