Chapter 124
- “Am so fuvkin’ tired.” Amelia said, stumbling and struggling to walk. After the twins left for school, Amelia remembered she had to stop at the art gallery to check on things. She had to run out of the house because Sebastian and Hailey kept arguing and fighting with each other. For a while, Amelia could sense that Sebastian was a little bit more tired than usual but she didn't pay much attention to it. She kept thinking of ways she could talk to Leandro, but he had been out of town since she got back from her honeymoon to only God knows where, and she was mostly too tired to do much.
- “Why aren't you going to work today Sebastian?" Amelia asked, staring at Sebastian with a glare before turning to face Hailey, her face still the same. “What are you doing here? Don't you have work to get to or something? If not, we're going to the shop; there are some things to do.”
- And now she kind of felt regret about asking Haley to come with her because Sebastian tagged along as well and they kept arguing through the drive to the art gallery. “Oh Christ, what have I done?" She asked, placing her head on her hand, her expression like an emotionally, physically, and mentally drained mother of three boys and a girl who are visiting with energy, but in this case, it's a grown-ass man who was now her husband and a grown-ass woman who was her best friend. But she didn't hate it, she loved how close they were to each other.
