Chapter 13
- “Hello, miss, the fare,” the taxi driver said, bringing her out of her train of thoughts.
- “Oooh, I’m so sorry,” she said sharply, trying to get back to reality. She gave the taxi driver a seven-dollar note, and they hopped out of the car. They walked to the box office to purchase movie tickets, each costing about twelve dollars.
- After they were done at the ticket sales counter, they went to the other side of the counter to get bowls of popcorn before going inside the cinema. They entered the cinema just as the movie was about to start. Harriet and Harrison quickly settled into their seats.
