• Sebastian’s body went rigid as the woman’s voice echoed down the hallway, dripping with malice. He stood up slowly, his hand instinctively reaching for the door as he turned to look at Amelia and Hailey. Amelia’s eyes were wide, her face drained of color as she helped Hailey to her feet. They both heard it too, the mocking tone that sent a wave of dread through the air.
• “Stay here,” Sebastian commanded, his voice leaving no room for argument, but Amelia was not going to have that. “What the fuvk do you mean ‘stay here?’ we have to get out of here and go pick up the twins because I don't feel like they can stay outside any longer.”
• "Amelia, please listen to me; I already texted Jimmy, he's on his way there right now, and Anthony is on his way here; just stay still, lock the door, and don't let anyone in except Anthony,” Sebastian said and went out of the lady's room before Amelia could testify.
