• Visiting hours were over and Samantha told Hailey to go home and rest, that she'll stay with Richard for the night. “Mom, come on, let's go home. You can rest there, and tomorrow you'll stay with him, too. Need some rest.” Hailey said, sluggishly pulling her Mom by the hand but Samantha wouldn't move.
• “Hailey, I already told you I'm fine, and your Dad needs more rest and help than me. You can go home and rest. I know how tired you are, and I suddenly called you at night to head over to the hospital.”
• " Okay, then let's both stay here; we can watch over Dad together,” Hailey said, walking to the corner of the room and sitting down on the couch where Leandro was. Leandro sat quietly at the corner of the room, silently watching the mother and daughter drama on full display, him and Richard unmoving and unable to do anything or involve themselves in the matter.
