• Sebastian watched Amelia as she slept, quite fascinated by the long black lashes that fringed her eyes. How beautiful those eyes were when open, how beautiful she looked while asleep.
• She was driving him slowly out of his mind. Her head was resting against the arm, and he kept still, for if he woke her up she would draw away from him due to excitement or worry about the twins and the rest.
• Sebastian checked his watch, his eyes moving to the window of the plane. Soon they would be landing at Nairobi airport and the aircraft would descend against the background of a sky flooded with the fiery glow of the setting sun. Amelia had slept through the last two hours of the journey while he…he had spent his time thinking about her. On his lap, there was an open journal he hadn't read a work of. All his attention was focused on the woman beside him.
