Chapter 5 Sophia Talley Is So Cool

• Bella was taken aback for a moment before quickly taking the phone. "Soph?"
• "Mom!"
• A little girl appeared on the screen, looking very similar to Bella. She was wearing a top hat and smiling at the camera. "Mom, you're so heartless! You only took Samuel and Sebastian back with you and left me here."
• After speaking, Sophia even made a sad and aggrieved expression.
• Bella's heart immediately ached. She didn't bother to dry her hair and softly comforted her daughter, "I will be back soon. I don't want you to be tired from traveling back and forth. Why are you with your dad? Where's your grandfather?"
• "Grandpa has a theater performance in a few days, and Dad came to pick me up."
• Sophia took two steps back after speaking. "He also bought me a new suit. Is it cool?"
• Sophia twirled in her white suit. Coupled with the top hat, she looked handsome and a little cool.
• "That's very cool! You look amazing."
• Bella smiled and couldn't help but wonder whom Sophia took after. Ever since the girl was over a year old and had her sense of aesthetics, she didn't like wearing skirts and preferred to wear suits and hats with Sebastian. They both dressed very handsomely. Presently, Sophia's big, twinkling eyes peeking out from under the top hat made her look even more adorable.
• Excitedly, Sebastian shouted, "What?! Dad is biased toward Soph. I also want to dress as cool as her!"
• A man's refreshing voice came from the other end of the line. "I bought one for you too. Why do you always want to compete with your little sister for attention?"
• "He even competes with me. He's selfish!" Samuel couldn't help but mock.
• Sebastian glared at Samuel before hugging Bella, feeling satisfied. "Samuel Talley, you're just jealous."
• His smugness caused Sophia's displeasure. "Sebastian, why do you always stick to Mom like glue?"
• A pleased Sebastian stuck out his tongue. "Because I like it!"
• Sophia rolled her eyes and said, "Where is Samuel? He doesn't even talk to me."
• Samuel turned to the camera and said lightly, "I'm here. You're not feeling well and should get some more sleep. Why are you calling so early?"
• She immediately scrunched up her face. "What's wrong with my health? I'm healthy. Don't treat me like a fragile doll, okay? You all went without me this time and I'm still angry!"
• Bella helplessly massaged her temples. She looked at Samuel and then at Sophia before saying, "I'm sorry. It's my fault. I will come back to accompany you after I'm done here."
• Sophia immediately smiled and said, "I don't blame you, Mom. You're so good. Don't be sad. I'll wait for you."
• After speaking, the girl even made a heart gesture.
• Bella was so happy she immediately blew some kisses back.
• Suddenly, a handsome and elegant man's face appeared on the screen. "How do you feel about coming back to the country? Are you adjusting well?" he asked.
• She awkwardly put away her puckered lips upon hearing that. As she caressed Sebastian's head, she responded, "It's pretty good."
• The man lifted Sophia onto his lap and let out a light laugh. "It seems you have run into trouble?"
• Bella thought of Grace, a phony with superb acting skills. The future will be interesting.
• "Mom."
• Samuel, who had been typing on his computer, suddenly stopped and signaled for Bella to come over.
• Sebastian followed Bella to the laptop, and Samuel calmly said, "I have found the woman who gave us trouble earlier. Her name is Grace Reed, a rising star of the label you'll be signing with, Aarla Entertainment. Her parents died when she was young and her only brother died in a car accident ten years ago. Because her brother was friends with Mr. Fowler back then, he is especially kind to her. A friendly reminder, Aarla Entertainment has another popular rising star vying for the top position with Grace. She comes from a powerful family and has vicious means. She's not a good person."
• "Ha! Sam is as reliable as ever. I feel more at ease now." The man's relieved voice came through the phone.
• Samuel didn't raise his head and chimed in, "I am the eldest, after all."
• "Yes, and only you can do it! Talk to your dad for a bit." Bella then handed the phone to Samuel.
• "Samuel, do you mean that Bella and Sebastian have been bullied?"
