• "Kane," she gasped out his name. "Stop. I want to leave. Let me go." She couldn't even free her hands to wipe her face, and she was embarrassed that he got her to cry over something so stupid. She couldn't let him mess with her mind. She'd gladly give him her body, but she needed to keep her thoughts clear, or she'd drown completely in Kane's storm.
• He grunted but otherwise ignored her as his teeth clamped down around her nipple. She moaned when his tongue began lapping at the little bud with rapid movements. She could feel her arousal building, and suddenly she was near the edge of pure bliss as he moved his mouth back and forth to each nipple. "I'll never let you go, Celeste. You're mine in any way I want you to be. Forever," he said, pulling his mouth away to speak, and she bucked her hips at his words. He meant to scare her, but the possessive nature of his words consumed her.
