• “The last time me and Cruz were fucking with you, you didn’t seem to mind,” Celeste said, scrunching her face up in distaste at his words because that was not how you sweet talk someone like Delaney. She was in awe of Delaney's smokey eye makeup that if she attempted, she’d look like she had two black eyes.
• “Your makeup looks amazing. I nearly take my eye out every time I’ve tried to use mascara,” Celeste told her. Delaney was so sweet to her when she told her what happened to the key she loaned her. She assured her that she’d get it back from Kane, and not to worry about it. She had this oddly comforting quality about her that wasn’t obvious at first glance.
