Chapter 42 Will She Deny Me?

• We leave our eavesdropping spot and just because I don’t feel like seeing anyone at the table at the moment I head to the bathroom panting.
• Could they be the parents that left me when I was just three months old and never bothered to come look for me and now they suddenly appear. Am I just making up what I heard because I’ve been thinking about my parents a lot lately? I’m sure that must be why. I’m sure they’re not my parents, I didn’t hear well and if they are what happens then? I’ve always wanted to know who my parents are and now the possibility that I know them and have found them doesn’t seem as good as I would have thought. If they are, what happens then? Would they apologize for leaving me alone all those years? Will I forgive them? I doubt if we’ll be a family, it’s already too late for that, a lot of time has passed and they both seem to have moved on with their lives, I have too. Why should I even be bothered if they are my parents or not? It shouldn’t matter just like I didn’t matter to them.
