Chapter 41 Finding My Parents

• “You’re finally here.” I stand up to greet her and we hug before taking our seat. She sits next to me and I’m so grateful for her company.
• She starts making videos of me, of us and the dinner. We get served finger food and a glass of champagne so I nibble on it while looking around. Liam and Harry are sitting next to each other and talking about football, Mr Clark and his date are also having a conversation as well as Ava and I.
• “It’s a good thing you’re here because these events can be quite boring sometimes.” Ava says and I laugh. “But the food is always nice though.” She adds.
