• Darren's POV
• I walked into the room and laid her down on the bed. I absolutely loved holding her close to me like this and it probably showed. I did not want to let her go. But I had to, out of respect for her. I backed away but she grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes. She had to have known that making eye contact with me would melt me because she had melted me immediately.
• "Don't go," she whispered, sounding like she was both breathing hard and out of breath.
