• Claire's Pov
• I took a deep breath and began to explain everything that had happened between Darien and me that night. "Raven, I don't know what's going on, but I feel like I'm losing my mind," I said, trying to process my thoughts. "Darien and I were together in his chambers, and everything was fine. We were talking and laughing, and I thought we were finally making progress. But then, out of nowhere, he just... changed. He looked at me with this intense gaze, like he was seeing me for the first time. And then he touched me, Raven. He touched me like he owned me, like he had every right to be intimate with me."
• I paused, taking a deep breath as I tried to calm myself down. "But then, just as suddenly, he pushed me away. He told me that I didn't understand what was going on, that I didn't know what I was getting myself into. And then he just... left me. He walked out of the room, leaving me feeling confused and rejected."
