• The pack members that welcomed me as I returned had gone back to their respective duties and so did Claire I couldn't find her. I assumed she must have gone back to my room to wait for me.
• I made my way to my room, the conversation I just had with Audrey still lingered in my mind like the scent of a rival pack. The moon was full, casting a silver glow over the room, and I could feel the primal energy of the night coursing through my veins.
